My Little Man!!!

Jacob loves when his hair gets longer because then he is able to spike it with his daddy's gel. After we gel his hair he looks in the mirror for a couple of minutes saying "Mom I look pretty good huh" and of course I say " you are so cute Jake"

Humboldt Weather!!!

The most exciting part about living in Humboldt county is the weather. You never know if it is going to be 80 degrees or 60 degrees in the summers or I guess all year round! In this case we have been having some pretty nice weather about 70 degrees and no wind ( which is huge). Nana ( there grandma) bought the really cool swimming pool from costco and set it up at her house so the kids could swim and enjoy our Humboldt weather while we have it. They loved every minute of it while they wrestle each other to see who was the strongest. I think that Alexis won the battle because she got Jacob out a lot more times then he got her out. You will see her being pretty proud of herself for kicking her brothers butt!!! There is a picture showing jacob laying on the deck after being defeated by his little sister. Makynna was enjoying the sun to while watching her brother and sister beat each other up.

Taking a stoll down the strip of Laihaina Alexis gets tired and want to sit down. This unfortately was the only spot available. She thought she was cute.

Captain Jake!!!

Jacob is driving his pa's big houseboat (at Trinity Lake of coarse) by himself at least he likes to thinks so. Its not like you can mess up the driving of a big boat out in the middle of a lake but for the sake of all of us its on auto pilot.

The Greatest Daddy Ever!!!

Jake and Lex think the world of their daddy, Craig. He is the ignitiator of the Star Wars chaos
in our home. When he comes home from work the first thing he does is he starts wrestling around with them teaching them new moves, then after that gets a little crazy he throws in the light saver fighting. You could only imagine how are house gets sometimes, but they sure do love it!!!

Hawaii Trip

Our family recently took a trip to Maui April23-May1 With the Jones side. There were 12 adults 2 kids and 2 babies. It was crazy. It is a tradition in the Jones family that when one of the kids graduated high school they get to pick a vacation as long as its within budget. My youngest brother Jared graduated from Mckinleyville High and he chose to go to Hawaii, and Maui was the best deal that we got. It was perfect weather the whole time that we were there. The days got crazy if you can imagine with 12 adults trying to decide what they wanted to do. So we broke it up. We would all go out in the mornings together and then go our separate ways in the afternoon. For the most of the time when our family would do our own thing we would come back to our condo and swim in the swimming pool. The kids loved it. We had so much fun on our trip. Some of our highlights were Jake and Lex loved to swim in the swimming pool and play three flys up. They also love to go to the beach and jump through the waves. They didn't like getting to deep into the ocean because they thought it would take them away. By the end of the trip we had them boggie boarding (in little waves of corse) and they loved it. Jake and Lex also loved to dig big holes in the sand and bury themselves that was a big highlight they did it a couple times. We had so much fun and hope that we get to do it again someday.

A day at the Lake!

My kids and I went to Trinity Lake for the weekend. (Trinity Lake is about 100 miles southeast of Mckinleyville). We have a houseboat on Trinity Lake and each summer we go up off and on all summer. I have gone up their since I was 3 months old and have grown to love it. It is one of my favorite places. Anyway the water still hasn't warmed up because its still early in the season and my kids insist on swimming. The water is about 70 degrees and to the touch its pretty cold. Jacob and Alexis got in and swim for about 45 minutes loving every bit of it. I can't believe that they would swim for that long. Their little lips were purple and they couldn't stop shaking but they kept reassuring me that they weren't cold. Makynna was the smart one she wanted to swim in the warm water of the bath tub. She loves the Bath.

Jedi's in training

This is a everyday event in our home. Even when dad gets home. There is always someone that gets hurt but they still keep going. My kids actually pick out Star wars names while they play. They love it though.

Star wars in training!!!! Even if she had a choice she would still be in training. Like I said my husband is a big fan so now our whole family loves it.

Makynna is the yongest of the three. She is almost eight months old and the best baby ever. She is the most mellow of my babies. She is definantly a daddy's girl When her dad walk in the room her eyes light up. She is in Star wars training. Her dad gives her star wars guys to chew on for her toys. Although she is one of the easiest babies she will eat nothing but the boob. I have tried to give her food and she has no interest in it at all she clinches her mouth as soon as you come close with the spoon. she is very stubborn in that way.

Jacob is the oldest of my three children. He loves everything that his dad loves including Star wars!!! Jacob is 5 years old and is playing Tee Ball twice a week. He is one of the smallest kids on the team but is one of the stronger players. He is a natural infact last week one of his games he hit a home run and sent everyone home. Its a given that it is tee ball but it went clear in center field. Jacob is also a sucker for quad ridding. His Pa bought him his own quad and he has been ridding it for the past 3 months. He is getting pretty good but a little to comfortable. The other day I caught him trying to spin brodies. I asked him what he was trying to do and he told me that he was trying to be like his uncles. He has 4 uncles that ride quad on a regular bases and are pretty crazy.


Alexis is the second child and will be four next month. She is looking forward to her birthday. There is not a day that goes by that she is planning for her birthday party she tells me everything that she want, to were its going to be, to who she is going to invite, I assure you that it changes every day. She is my child that has the strongest personality. She is all girl, she loves dressing up in princess clothes to wearing pretty bows in her hair but then she loves to get down and dirty with her dad and brother. Just like Jacob one of her favorite movie is star wars. As you can tell star wars is a big event in our home. She also love tee ball and wishes that she was of age to play. I have taken her to Jacob's games and and have been playing with her while the team would be warming up, parents have ask me why she isn't playing. she is just as good as any of the kids out there.
