We Are Home!!!

We are finally Home!!! Sorry it has taking me so long to blog, it had been crazy getting back into the routine of everything. This is a picture of Makynna getting into the cupboards dumping out spaghetti noodles. Makynna is doing so good she is walking , talking and eating everything in sight. It is awesome. She is so much happier now that she feels better. We still have a long road but we are home for now!





My Grandma Helen came down to Stanford to see Makynna and I and theres not much we could do except be outside. My grandma once told me that she had always wanted to walk the Golden Gate Bridge and I thought it would be cool to take her there plus it was a beautiful day. I have pass by the bridge probably a thousand times and not once thought about walking it but I can say that it was pretty cool.






This is Little Teeg Man! He is getting cuter and cuter everyday!





My cousin Carrie gave Alexis these boots and I about died. She wouldn't take them off and she even asked me if she could wear them to church when I said no she got mad at me, Thanks Carrie!

So I had a hard time trying to post that last post for some reason I couldn't write underneath of it. So this is my brother Jared who went to Baja, Mexico with my Dad and a bunch of buddies to do a quad race that they hold there every year. I guess that it is a pretty big deal. I guess the race stretches over 200 miles, with each racer racing 50 miles and then switching riders so the next set takes on the next 50 miles and so forth. Well Jared and his buddies all arrived there in Mexico 2 days before the race so that they could practice there sections. Jared said that he had rode his section a couple times so he felt he knew it pretty well. When he came around that corner he new that there was water but it was dug out so that it was deeper. He totally didn't expect that. He said that the Mexicans dig holes and stand on the side lines to watch people wreck. He thinks that is what happen to his little hole that got bigger over night. Anyway he didn't even know that this guy had taped him until he went on youtube to look up some videos from the baja race a found this video of himself. I just thought it was funny know that it is all over and that he is okay.

WE ARE HOME!!!

Yes we finally made it home on my Birthday which is the best present ever. I can't find my camera to post pictures I am still trying to unpack 4 months of being away and having the holidays down there we have so much stuff. We got some devastating news on the Monday before we left, they told us that there is a 90% chance that we will have to redo the Bone Marrow Transplant. I was so excited to come home and then that. It sucks but I have to stay positive. Anything can happen right? Miracles happen everyday! Even if we have to do it all over again we will take the road when it comes, right now I am hanging out with my family trying to make up for lost time. Makynna is an amazing Little girl and she is doing so good.

The count down is on!!! We get to come home in 12 days!! Yes 12 days on my birthday March 27!!

Santa Cruz!!!

Craig brought my kids down for the week and while he was here the weather was beautiful so we decided to head over the hill to Santa Cruz and visit some friends (Nate and Heather Jones). Its only 45 minutes from Mountain View so it wasn't a bad drive. I couldn't believe how nice the weather was, it was about 75 degrees and no wind. We were there for a couple hours and then as soon as Nate and Heather showed up my dad surprised us and called us to tell us that he was 5 minutes from our hotel room. Let me remind you that he was in Mexico and told us over and over that he wasn't coming this way because it was to far out of the way. So after seeing Nate and Heather for about 20 minutes we had to head back over the hill to see my dad. It was a good surprise just bad timing. We still had a lot of fun!!!

Casey, Natalie and Chrissy all came down to visit Makynna and I a couple of weeks ago. I forgot about the pictures so I am posting them now. We didn't do much because we had three babies. Oh well its better then being alone. Plus I hadn't seen Teegin since he was born.

San Francisco!!!

Wendy and Shelly came in Friday. We got to hang Saturday, Sunday, and they left Monday. It was so much fun to be able to get out (oh ya Craig came down just to watch Makynna so I could play a little, what an amazing guy)I feel revived because I could actually leave without Makynna needing to nurse all the time. Yes I finally broke her to about 2-3 times a day. Thanks Wendy and Shelly I really needed a break. So today we took Makynna to her Monday appt and the doctors are pretty impressed on how good she is doing. They told me that if she keeps it up we will be able to go home in 3 weeks. The count down is on!!! I am so excited I just hope that everything keeps going as well as it has.

A day at the park!!!

Craig's mom came into town to hang out with me and Makynna. As you all know Makynna can go outside but she can not go into public places. It gets old sitting in the room day after day so we went to the park. It was a beautiful day it was sunny and at least 75 degrees! We walked around the park for a hour and it felt so good to be outside in the sun. Makynna loved every bit of it.

Dressing alike!!!

I know I'm crazy but I have a thing about dressing my girls in the same outfits. There to young to complain so I can do it now, plus Alexis actually likes to dress like Makynna. Miss Alexis is posing!!! If you notice she is already wearing make-up. What is it about little girls and make-up. She thought she was hot stuff.

Me and My Girls!!!

Alexis, Makynna and I just hanging out!!! Sometimes we get so Bord that we have to entertain each other. Some of the things that Alexis does is hilarious!!! She likes to dance like you seen in my last post, she constantly wants to do her homework (so she thinks its her homework, it really is just a book that has different activities that she can do) and she loves to play with make-up but what girl doesn't. She is the biggest girly girl but yet she can beat up her big brother Jake. What a girl!!! Anyway this is totally off of the subject but today we did labs and Makynna's counts are up to 5300!!! Yeah! We are so excited! We hope that it keep going like this.

Nurse Alexis!!!!

The biggest and only downfall about being discharge from the hospital is the friends you make. We were living in the hospital for 50 days so we were bound to make friends. We loved all the staff but there's always some that you click better with then others. This is a picture of one of our favorite nurses Jill. She not only gets along with Craig and I, she also loves Alexis and Alexis couldn't wait to come and see Makynna and I just to see her friend Jill. Jill made her a name badge that said Alexis White nurse in training and gave her a sethoscope. So whenever Alexis was there she would follow Jill around and help her with what she could. The little duck that Alexis is holding is called the Chemo Duck and it has a central line just like Makynna's. Alexis likes to hook things up to it pretending that she was working on the duck. Jill made sure to tell Alexis to never touch Makynna's central line unless mommy, daddy or a nurse was there helping her. But like every child when they are told not to do something they automatically do it. I found myself yelling NO to Alexis as she tried to hook a syringe up to Makynna's central line. That could be bad. She has not tried it since.

Costco Dresses!!!!

So I went to costco yesterday and they had the cutest dresses for only $13.00. I had to get my girls dresses to match for Easter (hopefully we will be home by then). I couldn't decide between the purple one and the pink one so I got both of them. When we got back I had Alexis try them on so that I could decide which one that I liked best and the purple one was falling off. It was to wide up top so the pink one is the one that we kept.
