Well we finally made it here after a long 4 1/2 hour flight, kids not napping and a couple in front of us that were annoyed every time my kids got up or hit their seat. I thought I was going to die but we finally made it and its all worth it!!!

Makynna just started this little program called Kindersports, it teaches the kids little fundamentals about different sports. Right now she is doing basketball and she thinks she is so big because Jake and Lex play basketball. She is too cute I can't get enough of her. At the end of the season they play a little game, its such a good program for these little guys. Makynna has a blast.

I cannot believe how fast time goes by! My baby is 18 months old as of yesterday, and I feel like I jut had her. I remember Jake was 18 months old when I had Lex and he seem so much bigger than Bailee does. Anyway Bailee is still a turd but she is one of the most loving babies. She is my worse climber, she will climb, fall, start crying as she is trying to get back up! She doesn't learn. She will hit other kids and I try to teach her, that's not okay and than she will hit me. What to do, she is defiantly a very stubborn little girl and does what she wants, I think she get her little attitude from her father.

Alexis found the sunglasses and visor on the bank. She thought she was pretty cute wearing them.

We went to Trinity Lake for eight days and it was amazing. The weather was perfect the water was mirror and my kids were pretty good most of the time(which makes life easier). We finally got home last night and I got to the top of Titlow mountain and I could see the fog bank that hang over Humboldt county, I was so close just to turn around and go back to the sun. We are now home, and I have to catch back up to life and everything that goes along with it, doc appt, dentist appt, paying bills, getting food for the house, laundry and so on! I hope that we will be able to go up to the Lake again soon but it just feels like the days are just flying by.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go to San Fransisco with friends and family to go see the play Wicked. It was amazing, there are no word to describe how amazing it was! I defiantly recommend it for whoever hasn't seen it, to go. I was able to go kid less in which I haven't done since Bailee has been born. Craig stayed home with the kids and did a wonderful job. I couldn't have done it without him, Thanks Craig! I had a blast thanks to all that went with me and had to listen to me talk about.......! There is just something about San Fransisco that I love, defiantly not the smell but it is one of the coolest places that I have been.

Craig sent me to Utah with only Bailee to go to the Rascal Flats concert and it was the most amazing thing ever!!! Wendy and Shelly got us tickets and Craig's dad Roger(who works at Energy Solution) moved us down on the floor were we could actually see the sweat coming off their faces. It was amazing. Wendy, Shelly and Chrissy got to shake the main singer hand, I got shoved out of the way but I got a pretty amazing picture. It was so much fun It is by far the best concert ever!!!

Bailee turned 10 months old today. I can't believe that my baby is getting so big! I guess it time for another one. Just kidding. This little girl gives me a run for my money. I love her so much but sometimes I don't know what to do with her. She drives me insane. Jacob turned 8 years old yesterday. We had a birthday party on Friday and Jake came home from school sick so I had to entertain his friends. They rode the bus home with him so I had no way of getting a hold of their parents. It was horrible. Sunday was Jacobs birthday and he laid on the coach all day. It was so sad. As soon as he's better we will have a couple friends over and do something fun since he missed his party. Jacob is an amazing kid. He is sweet and very loving toward his family and friends. He is always thinking about people and how they are doing. He is a very deep thinker. He loves school and is very smart. He also loves all sports. He plays soccer, basketball and baseball. His very favorite thing to do is ride his motorcycle and he's awesome at it. We get to go to San Fransisco this weekend to watch the motocross races and he is so excited. Jake is an awesome son and brother!

I can't believe that today is the 2 year mark of when Makynna started Chemo. What a huge day for us. It has been a long road and we still have many hurtle to jump but I cannot believe the change in my Makynna then and now. She is doing amazing and I am so thankful for all of our loving friends and family that made it as easy as possible for just being there for us.

Thanksgiving has come and gone so fast so let me fill you in on what we did for Thanksgiving. My dad's brother and family came to visit us from Utah and we had so much fun. My kids enjoyed every minute with their cousins ridding quads and motorcycles to going and hanging out on the beach to just having sleepovers with them. Our Thanksgiving was super hectic but we loved every minute of it. In total I think there were 50 of us at one person's house which get a little crazy. The food that we had was way more then any person should see in a lifetime. We defiantly had a GREAT time!!! Moving on to this month we haven't really been doing much even though I feel totally busy. I just had my last final which I'm totally excited for, threw a progressive dinner for church and now on Saturday I will put on my Dad's work Christmas party and then we head off to Stanford on Sunday for a routine checkup. After that I think I can finally breath, once I get all my Christmas shopping done. I don't know were the time goes but I wish there were more time in the days.

We got some pretty amazing news on Thursday Makynna can now go into public places! What a huge milestone for us. I never ever thought that this day would come. She actually went with us to church today for the first time in two years and it was hard but fun. Its a whole new world for her. I took her to the grocery store and it was like a kid in a candy store. She was running through wanting to help me put things in my basket. It was pretty funny.

October 16 Makynna Lynn turned turned three years old. It has taken me a little bit to post her pictures. Brooklynne and Makynna had their birthday party at a local park. They had so much fun playing with friends, eating cupcakes and opening their gifts. It was a fun party. Makynna loves books and anything princess. I just can't believe that she is already three.

How cute is she!!! We just got back from a long Sanford trip and everything is looking good. They have stopped IVIG (which is a immune system booster) so we don't have to go down every 4 weeks. Now its every 8 weeks or so which is huge considering we have been making that trip every 4 weeks not to mention that it sucks!!! Makynna is still making huge strides everyday which is exactly what they want. We did everything from vision, audiology, cardio, hand doctors to making splints for her hands at night to more and more blood work. She has gone through more than any kid should have to go through. We started our appointments at 9 a.m. and finished our last about 4 p.m. what a day not to mention we had a couple the following day. The one thing I do have to say is that I love the care she gets down at Stanford. They treat her like a person instead of a patient. Its amazing. She started speech therapy twice a week in our home and she is doing amazing.

Canning, Canning and more Canning!!!

We have been canning everything from Tuna as you can see to Raspberry Jams and Applesauce. WOW what a job especially with kids. We canned 175 pints of tuna (that's a lot of freaking tuna!)between my family we have done about 360 quarts of applesauce and about 100 pints of Jams. I am so sick of canning and still want to learn how to do peaches, apple pie filling, and pears. Maybe I will try to do it in a couple of weeks. My kids have lots of fun helping except the clothes that we wore canning tuna we had to throw them away because they smelled so bad!

We finally got to go to the Pumpkin Patch on Tuesday with Craig. The kids have been bugging me since the pumpkin patch first open. Lately I have been feeling like the days rush by without me being able to take a breath. I get the feeling of being stress because I'm not able to get the things accomplished for that day. So Tuesday was so much fun because we got to hang out as a family. The kids had a blast.

My sister Jenna wrote this about sweet little Nicole and I thought it fits her perfectly!!!
once upon a time.
there was a sweet, little girl.
she loved princesses and dancing.
this little girl was born a twin.
her twin, the total opposite.
she loved sports.
soccer, basketball, football.
anything she wanted to lay, she'd play.
so, naturally, being twins, they were competitive.
the little princess wanted to play soccer.
so, she signed up.
and she was great!
the best little forward any team could have.
it's the day for practice.
the princess and the athlete's mom gets in the car and takes the regular route to practice.
the princess had a best friend, she played too.
they took her to practice that day.
or, they started to.
on the way to practice, two teenagers decided to race.
it got out of control.
at a hundred miles an hour they caused a four car-car crash.
This crash, caused the princess her life.
and at nine years old, the princess took her last breath.
i wish this was only a story.
but it's not.
this little princess, was my incredibly sweet, happy, upbeat, adorable nine year old cousin.
she, was actually more of little sister.
granted, we had our little fights.
but at the end of the day, i loved her dearly.
and now because two idiots had to race for the satisfaction of "winning", a life was taken.
a life that meant a great deal to everyone.

racing on the freeway, highway, or anywhere.
is dangerous.
and life threatening.
the fact that one of those boys is on the loose right now, is driving me crazy and making me sick.

On Monday around 4:30 p.m. My cousins little girl Vanessa and her two friends Ashley and Nicole(twins) were heading off to Soccer. They were taking their normal route when two young kids came up behind them going 100 mile per hour drag racing on the highway. One of the racing cars hit the vehicle that these three 9 year old girls were in causing them to flip about 10 times until they came to a stop. Vanessa and Ashley and the mother (which was the driver) got out but the sweet little Nicole died on impact. It makes me so angry because of these two stupid boys thinking it would be fun to race 100 mph to get the thrill of who beat who, but instead it ending up in a tragedy killing a 9 year old girl. She was a twin sister to Ashley and Best friend of Vanessa. My kids played with the girls almost everyday because they live right down the street from my parents. It is a horrible tragedy and is every parent worse nightmare. The worse part about this story is one of the vehicles got away and is no were to be found. We are thankful for who was able to walk away from it because looking at the vehicle nobody should have walked away from it. Give your loved ones a hug and tell them that you love them everyday because you never know when its going to be the last.

We got some good news from our Stanford visit. Makynna is doing amazing, which we already know, but numbers mean everything in the world of Transplant! We have been battling her numbers since transplant almost 2 years ago. After the long and emotional 2 years her numbers have decided to creep up and when I mean creep they are very slowly coming up, which if that's what they want to do so be it. We still have lots of trips to Stanford but they are talking about not having us come down so frequently. As of right know we have been making the 6 hour drive every four weeks which is exhausting with a 2 year old and a 5 month old, but now they are talking about letting us come every 8 weeks which is huge. We still have a long road ahead of us but now after two years I feel like we are starting to make some headway!

Sometimes I feel like I'm just going nonstop but it is my fault. We have Soccer practice between the two of them Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri and 2 games on Saturday. I love sports and I know my kids do to. Every year I ask them what they want to play and they tell me, lucky for me my kids want to play every sport possible. Me being such a sucker for sport I let them play what ever sport they want. As you can tell Makynna enjoys watching Jake and Lex play and even playing a little on the sidelines. Jake and Alexis both are doing super good on their teams scoring a couple goal every game. Today is Craig's 31st Birthday. The day started out by Craig's dad Roger giving him a call at 6:00 a.m. Cali time just to wish him a Happy Birthday. Wow it was early. Than around 8:00 I got up and made him his breakfast of choice, french toast. Than he was of to work. I showed up at work around lunch time so that I could take him to lunch. Than made him dinner of choice and had a couple of friends over for a little dessert. Not the best party ever but when you start getting older it just another day. It was fun and I hoped he had just as fun of a day minus having to go to work.
I couldn't ask for a better dad and husband. Craig does so much for me and my kids. He is one of the most sensitive guys that I have ever met which is a good thing. He loves his children and would do anything for them. He had been there to uplift me when I need him and to love me when I need it the most. He lives in a place that he hates more than anything in the world but he makes the best of it. Sometimes I feel like he is to good to be true. I love you Craig and hope that you had a good Birthday!

We just got back from our monthly trip to Stanford. We met with a Genetics Counselor and they evaluated her and said that she looks amazing. We also meet with our team of Doc's that we see every time that we are down there and they are just amazed at how well she is doing developmentally. They did a bunch of blood work which will determine were her numbers are as far as the bone marrow transplant but we have to wait for those another 2 weeks so I will keep you updated!

So we finally got some good news. Makynna's numbers started to come up which they haven't done since her transplant which was a year and a half ago. She started out with zero enzyme level aka Hurlers disease and now she has normal enzyme levels. We are so excited that things are FINALLY going in the right direction. I hope that they keep going up. We are heading back down July 7 so we are excited to see were they go from here. We are crossing are fingers!!! This picture is after she ate a whole bowl of vanilla ice cream. Makynna loves ice cream, but then again who doesn't.

Its finally over!!! At the first of the year Alexis loved going to ballet but around the middle of the year I had to fight her every time. I told her that she had to finish the year out because we had already bought her costume so she did. When she got dress up and put a little makeup on, she was excited again. She told be after the show that she only wanted to do the shows and I told her it didn't work that way and so she said she was done.

So as you can see we had a good time at the lake. Getting to the lake was a different story. I have driven the road to Trinity many times and this time started out the same. About 1 hour into it some stupid kid didn't see me and hit the side of my Sequoia. Thank goodness for big cars because it totaled his car out to were he could barley drive it and my car had a flat tire and a couple scratches on it. The worst part about the whole thing is that this kid didn't have any insurance and then I waited for the stupid police to show up and after about 1 1/2 hour of not showing up I left. I can't believe that the police would take that long. Later I found out by my sister in law Janelle (who knows the kids family) that he had just wreaked his car a month before he hit me. I guess the kid can't drive.
I didn't have any pictures of Jacob because he was my dad new son. He never left my dad's side. He was either riding his motorcycle, driving the Prowler, driving the houseboat or ski boat, making sure they had enough wood for his camp fire and the best, sleeping right between my mom and dad while he grinding his teeth. He would live at Trinity Lake if he could. The best part of it is my mom and dad didn't bathe Jake the entire 5 days they were there. I hate dirty smelly kids. The lake is one of my very favorite places and we are going up this weekend so more Trinity Lake pictures coming your way!!!

What was I doing 10 yrs ago...
Ten years ago I has just graduated from Mckinleyville high school and was getting excited for my big move to Utah with my best friend Kelly.

5 yrs ago....
I had two kids that were 18 months apart. I remember that having two kids so close in age was challenging(I even thought that I was done having more kids). Craig and I had been married for a little over three years and loving every minute of it.

1 yr ago....
Just getting done with Makynna's Bone Marrow Transplant and worrying that whenever she would spike a fever we would be back in the hospital. I also found out that I was pregnant with Bailee and being overwhelmed and stressed on how I was going to juggle 4 kids with a medically challenged kid.

Yesterday...
Bailee went in for her 2 month check-up and got 4 shots. She was very fussy and I was trying to get my house cleaned and laundry done because we had just got back from another trip to Stanford. Cooked dinner and went and vented to one of my dads friend(who is in the insurance business)about how I pay a ton of money for good insurance and I still have to pay out the butt for deductibles and copays. I hate insurance!!!

5 snacks I enjoy....
Right now I love good watermelon, jamba juice, apples dipped in caramel, Hersey bars and Cinnomon sugar toast.

Makynna is doing good we just got back from Stanford because she had a little GVHD(graft vs host disease)which can be good because it can cause her numbers to go to 100%. We are hoping that's what it did. They did a bunch of blood work and we get to find out some time this coming week. Hope for the best! Other than that she is doing amazing!

So we had tons of fun on our trip to Utah!! We were on the go seeing friends and family. One of our favorite things about our trip was going to Steve Young's ranch and the kid getting to ride a pony name bulleye. Alexis and Jacob thought that was the coolest thing ever. We also spent a couple of days at Mulligans were the kids got to hit in the batting cages and miniature golf. Craig got all of his Utah Jazz gear that he wanted because he couldn't find anything here so he was in seventh heaven. He also decked all the kids in Jazz gear to. I didn't really do much shopping which isn't a bad thing because we saved some money but I did my my girls some bows and on the way home one of the bags full of bows got thrown away. I was soooo mad. But what do you do. I hope that someone find them and uses them because they were super cute. Other than that we had lots of fun and can't wait for our next trip. Oh ya and if you talk to Craig we are moving back to Utah because it feels so right. I know he loves it there but everything has to fall into place and then I wouldn't have a problem with living there. Our main problem is Makynna has to get BETTER!!! Anyway we got back on Tuesday morning at 3 and I left to Stanford Wednesday at noon. I am so tired of traveling. I get to be home for at least 2 weeks before we head back down to Stanford.

So it has been a crazy past couple of weeks. Makynna has been sick and its very exhausting. She has been on one medication after another and it doesn't seem to get better. I am at the end with a two year old who is very whinny and only wants me which is hard and having a 6 week old baby. We head down to Stanford on Tuesday for our monthly checkup so I am hopeing that they will be able to help!
On a better note we get to head to Utah on Saturday which we are super excited for because we haven't been back in over a year and a half. We still have to be very careful but we are just excited to go and visit the family! Plus I will have my husband to help me for 10 whole days! I will post more when I get a moment away from a sick baby

We have had our computer almost 7 years and it finally crashed. It only took a little over a week to fix so sorry. I have been meaning to post what I cook in a week since Becca has tagged me so here it goes. I love to cook so every week its so different but here are some of our favorites.
Monday: Chicken and Crasin Pasta (love this one only takes 20 minutes if that)

My Labor Story!

So I took some Castor oil about 7:00 p.m. because it put me into labor with Makynna and I wanted to see if it would work again. About 10:00 p.m. Friday night I started contracting and they were coming every 3-5 minutes apart but not really getting any stronger. Alexis was a quick labor so I was getting nervous sitting at home so about 12:00 a.m. we want to the hospital. When we got there I was at a four and still having my contractions every 3-5 minutes apart. They didn't really hurt so I decided to try to get some rest. About 7:00 that morning the nurse came in to check me and said that I was only at a 5 but my contractions were dying down to every 7-10 minutes apart. I was so sad. My other labors were so quick that I expected more. My doctor finally came in about 12:00 p.m. and said that he could either break my water or watch and see what my contractions were doing. Without hesitating I said to break my water. After that and a little labor juice (potocin) I had Bailee at 3:25 p.m. on Saturday. The best part is that I only had to push for 5 minutes and she was out. The worse pain of my life yes I did it without a epidural. Half way through pushing her out I thought to myself why on earth I would choose to put myself through that sort of pain. Oh well I feel awesome and can't believe that she is finally here.

Bailee Kate White was born March 29 @ 325 p.m. She weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. My labor was a petty good labor. I will write more on it later I just wanted to get some pictures up on my blog.

Yesterday was my birthday and it started out with Craig making me waffles (not one of my favorites but the kids love them). Then he got all the kids ready for the day, what a awesome guy. Sad to say he had to go to work, so my mom took me to lunch and shopping for a new comforter set. Jenna watched my kids so it was a day free from kids, at least for a couple of hours. It was nice. When I got home from shopping it was hanging out with my kids until Craig got home from work. My mom watch our kids so that Craig and I could go to dinner and a movie. We went to dinner then checked out what was playing. There wasn't anything that I really wanted to see so we went to a local ice cream shop and had a little ice cream. Didn't help me much since I had to weight in this morning for my weekly pregnancy checkup. sadly to say I gained 4 pounds in 1 weeks. I guess I need to lay off of the Mini eggs and ice cream! I always pack it on at the end because I retain so much water. (it makes me feel better when I say that). I am still only dilated to a 3 no change from last weeks I was super sad. I am so ready to give birth. I am HUGE! Still any day I just keep hoping that its sooner than later. I had some picture to post of my new comforter set but my sister took my connector from my camera to my computer and I can't upload them. I will later.

We are off again for our monthly checkups with Makynna. I get to have my amazing husband come with me this time which I'm super excited for. He sits in the back and entertains Makynna when she not watching a movie, while I drive. I know that he hates it, but being pregnant I get super car sick so If I'm trying to entertain i fell like I'm going to throw-up. We are leaving tonight and heading down to see some friends in Sacramento and then heading across Sunday night for Makynna's appt Monday morning. Its just going to be Craig, Makynna and I which will be nice for Craig to get a little time away. Don't get me wrong he loves our kids its just we can't really leave out Makynna yet. Jacob and Alexis started baseball Wednesday and its hilarious. They get to play on the same team and when they got there they teamed up to throw to each other. The whole time they were fighting because one would throw it harder then the other or one wasn't watching and would miss the catch. Then came batting practice. Jacob was first and he got up there and hit to the pitchers mound, he was bummed that he didn't get a better hit be his excuse he didn't get a good pitch. Alexis was next and the first pitch she hit it into center field. Go Alexis!!! Jacob was so mad at her it was pretty funny in a way. I look forward to a season filled with lots of fighting on who is better then who.

I know I don't have any pictures of Jake but these were just quick pictures that I had taken. We got Makynna's numbers back finally and they are just kinda staying the same. Our doctors don't really have alot of answers which is very frustration but they want to do more t-cell transfusions from Jacob (I feel so bad for him he has done so much for her)Which means they have to take 60 cc of blood from him and inject into her. I feel like this process had been so drawn out but I guess we have to keep trying. I look at her and she is doing so good that I expect her numbers to come up but oh well it could be worse. I am 35 weeks pregnant and can't wait to have this baby. They say the more kids you have the more aches and pains and man I am feeling the aches and pains.

I have been running circles trying to get ready for baby. It's just the little things like getting a dresser, to getting the clothes washed and put away to making sure you can find everything like the car seat and the bassinet. We moved in August and ever since then I can not for the life of me find were the screws went to my crib it is so frustrating. I can't believe that the time is fast approaching me that I am going to have another baby as if 3 is not enough to juggle.j/k I wouldn't have it any other way. Craig and I still struggle on a name for our new baby girl but the name that we are leaning towards is Bailee Kate, that's the only name that we can both agree on for the moment.
Jacob is playing basketball and is loving every minute of it while he gets ready to start baseball which we are super excited for because Uncle Graham is going to be the coach. Alexis is still doing ballet which I struggle to get her there every week because she would rather play sport than ballet, but I had already paid for the costume for the end of the year so she is going to finish it out. She is getting ready to start baseball with Jacob and is so excited to be on the same team as big brother. Makynna is my little lover. She is the most loving kid and I love every minute of it except when daddy gets home then her love is directed toward him. Her numbers have been pretty study which is good, but its the same thing we really don't know a whole lot. We just keep hoping and praying that everything is going to work out for the best.

So it has been a very long time since I last updated. We just got back from Stanford last night and everything seems to be going in the right direction so we are still keeping our fingers crossed. Jacob and Alexis have been out of school all week because of presidents week and they are driving me crazy plus I am 33 weeks pregnant and ready to have this baby. I get bigger and bigger everyday. Craig and I are still having a heck of a time trying to name our little girl. If anybody has any suggestions please help. I will try to get some pictures up later.

1 Year ago yesturday we were admitted to the Hospital for a bone marrow transplant. I can't believe that it has already been a year. Its amazing how slow time can go and then looking back how fast it seems.

I'm just so excited to see the change in Makynna. She is an amazing little girl. We still have a long way but we have come so far.

Good News!!!

Makynna is doing amazing!!! We got some news back right before Christmas and for the first time since transplant 1 year ago her numbers started to climb back up. There are different numbers that they count that make up the bone marrow and they have been staying at 15-20 percent and finally came up to 30 percent which gives us hope that they might start climbing back up. I know that it doesn't seem like much but for her and the numbers always going down and never going up, gives us hope. We have been blessed with another baby girl in which I am due April 17. About 4 weeks ago I had a amnio done to see if this baby had hurlers and we just got the results back yesturday that she is a healthy little girl. No down syndrome or hurlers!!! We are so excited for our new addition. We go down on Wednesday for more testing on Makynna so I will let everybody know when we get results.

So on Thanksgiving day Craig thought he could play tackle football with a bunch of guys and came home with a broken collar bone. Poor poor Craig is what he wants me to think. If its not bad enough to get three kids and myself ready for the day I also have to help Craig get ready because heavens forbid him suck it up and do what he needs to do. I mean I know that it hurts and I am willing to help to a extent but lets just face it guys are BABIES!!!
Alexis is loving school and especially loves the social part of it of course she is a girl. She also loves sports, she just got done with soccer were she average 8-10 goals a game and can't wait for basketball to start. A girl after my own heart!!!

Like a good little boy here is a picture of Jacob doing his homework. He was mad at me so he wouldn't look up but I don't have to fight him to do his school work he loves doing every bit of it I hope he keeps it up.

Makynna watching her sponge bob movie which by the way she loves sponge bob!!! If you look closely she is about 1 inch from the T.V. I know she need glasses but she will not wear them. We also got some good news a couple days before Thanksgiving Stanford called and told us that Makynna's numbers have gone up from 15% to 30%. We are super excited because this is the first good news about her numbers that we have had since her transplant 1 year ago. There is light at the end of the tunnel. We hope that the numbers keep going up.

I was having a relaxing Saturday which I don't get very often when Jody called me and asked me if I knew where my kids were. Without thinking I said of course they are playing out back like they always do. He kinda laugh and said well you might want to look outside, when he had said that I new something wasn't right and I didn't even want to get up to check it out. After my mom got up to see what was going on she couldn't stop laughing and told me not to get up!!! I knew that it couldn't be good so of course I got up to find Alexis, Jacob and Ammon diving and doing belly flops in a huge mud puddle. At this point I thought that they were already muddy so let them play for as long as they could. The thing that made me the maddest was Jacob and Alexis both had brand new shoes on go figure. I am still trying to soak the mud out of their clothes!!! I guess kids will be kids!

It took me scrubbing Alexis hair 5 times until all of the dirt was out.

Luckily my mom had a shower outside so they didn't track mud through the house.

Alexis turned 5 years old yesterday. She has been talking about her birthday since Jacob had his Birthday in January. The one thing she had wanted to do was to go bowling so we went bowling with some of her close friends. 20 minutes into bowling the electricity went out and we had to open presents and eat cake waiting to see if it would come back on. After about 30 minutes and nothing happening we called it good and had to go home. Alexis was so sad and she still talks about doing it again. I found out yesterday that the electricity didn't come back on until midnight that night.

Alexis took Ballet all year and at the end of the year they get to put on a little show. Alexis and her group were kitties as you can tell and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. She loved getting all the attention for a couple of hours plus getting to put a little make-up on.

It was a beautiful day in Humboldt County so my kids decided to wash my car. I caught Makynna playing the the water and loving every minute of it.

I don't know what it is about my kids but both Jacob and Alexis take my camera and take random pictures of themselves. I don't know were they learned it because I defiantly don't take pictures of myself.

So I thought these pictures were funny. It had been a long time since I post last so i will try to give a little update. Makynna is doing amazing she is a different baby, She is walking all over, she eats everything in sight and she is a much happier baby. We still have test upon test to come back but we couldn't be happier with the outcome so far. For those who don't know, on top of everything we are building a house and it is being drywall this week so it is going up fast. we are totally excited about it because it is everything we want.

So my best friend in the whole world finally left. They had been talking about it for a long time and I knew it was coming but it happen not even a month after I got back from Stanford. Our family is so sad to not see them around anymore. My kids loved Ammon and Cohen and still they talk about them everyday. I know that its the best for them but we are sad. The good news is that we have to drive down to the bay area every three weeks so we will be able to see them every once in a awhile. We love you guys!!!
